Describe the transmission you need
Start with the details you know. If you are still investigating a fault, ask your repair shop to identify the need before choosing a unit. BUSCA guidance prepares the search and does not diagnose the fault.
- Vehicle make, model, year and trim.
- Transmission type: automatic, manual or CVT, if known.
- Engine size and drivetrain, when available.
- Transmission code, part number or a clear photo of its label.
- Optional VIN and the location where you need to receive or collect the part.
A clear reference helps avoid assumptions
Year and model help guide a search but do not, by themselves, confirm fitment. Ask the supplier to check the proposed unit code against your vehicle configuration, and consult your repair shop if you are unsure.
Request photos of the specific part, its label and its connections when needed for that review. If you cannot read the code, share an available photo in WhatsApp. You do not need to invent a reference to use the request form.
Ask what is included and what is pending
A useful proposal distinguishes the offered unit, its included components and the purchase terms. Clarify these points before comparing price alone.
- Stated condition and evidence of testing, if available.
- Included components and any installation or programming requirements your repair shop needs to confirm.
- Written warranty, exclusions and requirements for a claim.
- Part price, additional charges and any core return requirement.
- Location, estimated delivery and the return policy for that particular unit.
